Question
What do you mean by bond? if we invest in a bond wat would be the returns? is it profitable if we invest money on bonds? plse help me on this

Answer
People invest in stocks or bonds.  Stocks are certificates of ownership in a company and could have very good or very bad returns.
Bonds are debt of the company or government.  They are secured and have a better defined income.  They are also safer than stocks.  Bonds have a coupon and a set maturity where stocks will exist as long as the company does.
Bonds are returning around 5 to 6 percent right now.
