Bonsai/Early bonsai growth

Question
I have recently planted my bonsai seeds (end of February) and they are growing really well, about 2 inches tall now. However I am concerned that as they get taller they are starting to lean and not have much strength. What do I need to do to assist their growth?

Answer
Hi,

Sorry for not responding sooner. I think we are the only "experts" answering bonsai related questions.

I'm not sure if you are growing these seeds in the ground or a training pot, but try tying the stem to a small wood stake. This will keep the stem from leaning, but do not tie the trunk too tight to the stem. You will likely need to reposition / move the "tie" regularly as the stem gets taller.

Enjoy your day.
