Question
I have a miniature Calamondin tree.  I need to get a good fertilizer for it, but I have no idea what to purchase.  Do you have any suggestions what I should use? If you can, be specific with the name, there are SO many different citrus fertilizers out there.
Thank you!

Answer
Hi,

Sorry that your question was not answered. I believe that i am the only person answering bonsai / tree related questions.

Any citrus fertilizer will work just fine. My preference is to alternate liquid and pellet fertilizers, but it's not a requirement. All citrus trees will benefit from a heavy nitrogen fertilizer that has some phosphorous in it. Citrus trees also like to have somewhat acidic soil, so an acidic fertilizer will also be beneficial in citrus tree fertilizing. The easiest citrus fertilizer to use is the kind made specifically for citrus trees.

Thank you
