Question I have a children's book re-told by Charles Dickens' Granddaughter that was my Grandmothers childhood book. There is no publication date only the Philadelphia Henry Altemus Co. name on 4th pg. I know this book is @ least 100 years old, would you have any info on this publication?

Answer Hello.
Your book is #2 in the Dainty Series. This series was published between 1899 and 1916. Your book however was first published in 1900. The series had several different formats . In order for me to tell you the date when it was published I would need to see the cover. The book originally had a dust jacket.
