QuestionHi this is sha from chennai. I would like to start reading books now a days so help me in that. Book i like to read are time management, positive attitude, personal development and how to be a good relation with collegues and friends.
AnswerHi
I hope/guess that you mean novels that deal with these themes. Am I right?
Well, as for novels that deal with such themes, you can do no better than read Horatio Alger Jr.'s works. These novels, though primarily aimed at juveniles, are interesting -- albeit a wee bit dated, and deal with ways to better yourself.
For personality development, or to read novels about characters on which you hope to mold yourself, Harper Lee's To Kill a Mocking Bird is just about perfect. The character of Atticus Finch and the way he guides his children to become better people is done in a subtle manner, that is unbelievably endearing.
However, if you are looking for works, that aren't fiction, I am sorry for not being as helpful as I would love to be -- but it doesn't really come under my area of expertise. Of course, you can always read Dale Carnegie. His work, How to Win Friends and Influence other People, deals with the questions that you are pondering on.
Happy Reading.
