Question
I would like to know if these books always printed with First edition ? Because i have a books Call " The Caine Mutiny "on it it's printed with no First edition but every thing is the same.Here a photo of what i am saying. It have 1951 on the 4 page and on back page 1951 but no first edition. Could you help ? Thank You For Your Time.............

I hope you are well and enjoying your Veterans Day weekend.
It looks to me like your copy of "The Caine Mutiny" is a First Edition. It states that Herman Wouk, the book's author, copyrighted it in 1951. This book, then, is, most likely, the first edition and has been published in the same year. If it was a second edition, there would be a second date and/or year printed along with the year the book was copyrighted.
So, you have for yourself, a first edition of Herman Wouk's "The Caine Mutiny".

I am often published in the Mensa Bulletin. Former Poet Laureate of Portugal, Jose Brites, has shown interest in publishing a collection of my poetry. At the age of 21, I was invited to speak at University of Nebraska at Omaha's International Third World Studies & Review Conference. I was the youngest speaker there. Not even having earned my Bachelor's Degree at the time, I was in the company of PhD.'s and experts from around the globe.
