QUESTION: I once read a book when i was in either 5 or 6 grade mid 1990's.  all i remember about the book was a young boy who i believe ran away and there was a bilzard. Some how he either entered a different world or imagined everything. but he ran into animals who had telepathy.  i remember it was either tigers or lions. this is all i remember. it was a very great book and i would love to read it again. if you can help me i would greatly appreciate it.

ANSWER: Hello Fatima,

The closest fit I can think of is Lion Boy by Zizou Corder although this doesn't fit with the time you read as it was published in 2003. Is their any more information you can think of? This would help me in my search.

QUESTION: Hi Andrew,

Ok i believe he went through a journey with the animals with telepathy i believe it was a journey to get home.  towards the end of the book he is back to his reality, and i believe he is trapped in the blizzard and he wonders where do words go after he speaks. and he tries to control his words or sends his words so he can get help. i know it all sounds strange but it was such a good book and it has always stuck in my mind. if you can help it is greatly appreciated. i will definitely look into Lion Boy. thank you

Sorry for the delay in getting your answer to you, but my grandmother has been in hospital for the past few weeks, and passed away three nights ago and I have family matters that need attending. I have been unable to find any other books close to what you describe but this is probably due to my lack of research. I will be going away for the next two weeks, but once I get back I will try my hardest to find it for you. I'm really sorry for having to delay your answer, and it makes me feel bad that you've already been waiting for a while now.
