Question
Hi!

i'm trying to find the name/location of a statue i saw in the movie blown away (jeff bridges, tommy lee jones) set in boston. There was a scene where the see a statue, possibly near a local market, that had the torso of a person who had been shot with arrows. Later on in the movie part of a bomb (a small marble/ball bearing) was lodged in it after an explosion.

Any idea where this is?

thanks!

I'm trying to research this a little better, but if you see here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109303/locations

The locations for the film were in various parts of Boston, mostly the main parts of the city - where a number of landmarks are, as well as statues.

And you are referring to the statue at the end of this clip i assume, yes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGQ5P0DntQE

It could be a number of statues throughout the city, however, the city in no way would ever allow a producer to use a REAL statue - so it must be a replica. Because I can't see the entire statue I am not completely sure.

HOpe some of this helps.

Sorry.
