this was the Celtics' roster in the 2001-2002 season: #34 Paul Pierce, #8 Antoine Walker, #7 Kenny Anderson, #20 Erick Strickland, #4 Tony Battie, #55 Eric Williams, #52 Vitaly Potapenko, #31 Joe Johnson, #0 Walter McCarty, #9 Milt Palacio, #30 Mark Blount, #42 Kedrick Brown, #40 Joseph Forte, #11 Randy Brown. On february 20, 2002 the Celtics traded Joe Johnson, Randy Brown, Milt Palacio and a first round draft pick to Phoenix, and received Tony Delk (who used Boston's #28 jersey - and later used #7) and Rodney Rogers (who donned the Celtcs #54 jersey).
