I have a ball signed by the 1986 Celtics championship team including Red Auerbach.I bought this ball at auction at a function hosted by John Havlicek.Is there any value at this time with the Celtics just releasing a DVD of that season.

There is value to such an item no matter what time it is (with that team being the last Celtics club to win a championship and all) ... I can recall scanning eBay for auctions on autographed basketballs from that time period running up to several thousand dollars, at least.

My advice would be to find a store which sells sports memorabilia (one that you can trust!) and have them appraise the item ... The inclusion of a certificate of authenticity would also help bump up the asking price.
