Question
Hi Fabio,

do you know if any trades happens between Celtics and Lakers? I think it's very rare.

thanks,
Bruno

Answer
Hi Bruno,

you may be right since in the Celtics history there heaven't been so many trades with the Lakers. At the same time, I don't think there's a particular reason why it happened so seldom. Let's see the trades:

- December 27, 1977: Boston acquired Don Chaney, Kermit Washington and a fisrt round pick in exchange of Charlie Scott.
- January 29, 1999: Boston acquired Tony Battie in exchange of Travis Knight.
- August 6, 2004: Boston acquired Gary Payton, Rick Fox, a conditional first round pick and cash for Chris Mihm, Chucky Atkins and Marcus Banks.

I hope this helps.
