Question
Are you familiar with a player whose first name is Gary?  I do not know his last name.  He claims that he played with the Celtics from 1990-1992.  Maybe it's possible that Gary is not his real name, but a nickname.  Thank you.

Well, if his first name or nickname is Gary, in no way he played with the Boston Celtics in 1990, 1991 or 1992.

If you need to prove him he didn't belong to the storied franchise, you can use the most comprehensive NBA statistics guide on the net here:

and print your results. If you want to check a player's nickname, you can click on his name (for instance "Larry Bird") and you'll directly go the the player's page where after his name you can find the nickname ("Larry Legend, The Hick from French Lick").
