Boston Celtics/Celtics training camp

Question
Hello,
I live in Litchfield, NH and we have a building known as Talent Hall that has a court and a stage in it.  There is a rumor around town that the Celtics used the building to hold training camp back in the 50's.  I know the building was owned by the Talent family from Brookline, Ma and was home to a Jewish summer camp.  Would you happen to know the answer if the Celtics did indeed use this building?  We still use the building for our rec basketball league.
Thanks,
Jason

Answer
I've checked the local online newspaper archives (Globe, Herald, etc.) but can't find a specific mention of Talent Hall being used as one of the locations for the Celtics' training camp in the 1950s.

What you could do is contact the Litchfield Recreation Commission and see if someone there has records that go back that far; the phone number is 603-424-4046.

You might also try your local library (http://www.cutlerlibrary.blogspot.com/); they must have access to old newspaper stories from that timeframe.

Hope that helps,
Alessandro
