After being waived by the Boston Celtics before the 1985-'86 season, Clark tried unsuccessfully to join the Sacramento Kings and Chicago Bulls. In the meantime he played for the LaCrosse Catbirds of the CBA. In the summer of 1986 he tried out for the Milwaukee Bucks, but was cut after four days of training camp. Then he played for the Calgary 88's of the World Basketball League, where he was named for the All-League team. In 1988 he left for Europe, as he signed a good contract with Ghent, and he played in Belgium for nine seasons. Clark is currently coaching at Seacrest High School in Naples, Florida, where he, his wife Barbara and his son Deion are living. He would still love to come back to the NBA as a scout, but he hasn't still managed to do it.
