Yes, she received an undisclosed amount of money when Dr. John Rutherford (who was one of Gilbert Mudge's cardiologist associates) decided to settle suit, and soon after her husband's death she was granted the 9 million dollars left in Reggie's contract at the time of his death. I am not sure she received money for other insurers, but the Boston Celtics pocketed 17 millions dollars from Equitable between 1993 and 1994.
