Hi Fabio,

I was wondering.... Did NBA player ELBERT "AL" BUTLER ever played with the Boston Celtics during the 1961-62 season? In the Celtics encyclopedia and its nba website, he's not included in the list. But I have pictures and books to prove otherwise and he indeed played 5 official games with the Celts before moving to the Knicks... Thanks in advance, bye...

I have the same information you got: Elbert Butler, a decond round draft pick from Niagara, played 5 games during the 1961-62 Championship season and averaged a little more than 6 points per game in that short span, before being traded to the Knicks on december 11, 1961 for some cash.
