Hi Fabio,

I was wondering... I came across a 1990-91 Celtics team, and I noticed names that didn't make the final Celtic team of that season... One is Anderson Hunt which I knew, and the other is Tommy Van Emerson... Who is this Van Emerson, and if he is a player or staff?... Any ideas?... Thanks in advance, bye...

the only place where you find the name "Tommy Van Emerson" is as an autograph on Celtics team balls. But neither in almanacs nor in guides, team histories end encyclopedias the name "Van Emerson" is available. If you ask me,knowing the spirit of that team, that name is a practical joke by one of the team members, who probably wanted to mimick Tom Heinsohn's name or something. Because no "Tom Van Emerson" was ever part of the Celtics' staff or roster.
