Boston Celtics/Conor Henry

Question
I am a big fan of Celtics...have been for a long time. But, cannot remember when Conor Henry played for Celtics. Can you help?

Answer
Dear Mary,

Conner Henry, a 6-7 forward from California-Santa Barbara University, was picked by the Houston Rockets in the fourth round of 1986 draft but played just 18 games in Texas before being traded to Boston. A specialist from 3 point land, in that first stint in Boston he played 36 games averaging 6.4 minutes and 2.7 points per game with a solid 38.7% from the long distance. In  his second (and last) campaign in the NBA, he played just 10 games in Celtic green (8 minutes and 3.4 points per game, with 37.5% from three point distance) before being traded to the Milwaukee Bucks. Later the Bucks "packed" Conner and sent him to Sacramento, where he ended his NBA career. So, Conner Henry played with the Boston Celtics in 1986-87 and in 1987-88 seasons. I hope this helps... and keep rooting for our Celtics!
