Boston Celtics/Jersey Number

Question
I have an autographed photo of Jerry West shooting a jump shot guarded by a Boston Celtic player with #11 on his jersey.  The player is black and my guess it was taken in the 60's.  Probably more than one player had number 11, but if anyone can help narrow it down for me I would appreciate it.  Thanks.

Answer
Hi Charlie,

Jerry West played in the NBA from 1960 to 1974, and in that span there were four Boston Celtics who donned the # 11 jersey: Mel Counts (1964-66), Jim Barnett (1966-67), Mal Graham (1967-69) and Steve Kuberski (1969-74). Now, since the only black player between these four is Mal Graham, I think you have your man. Robert Malcolm Graham was born February 23, 1945: a 6'1" guard from New York University, he won two NBA championships as a member of the Boston Celtics . He is currently a judge on the Massachusetts Court of Appeals.
I hope this helps, happy New Year!
