Boston Celtics/Signed Basketball

Question
Good Morning,

I have a basketball that was personally signed by the 1986 Championship Celtics Team.  Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Chief, DJ, Bill Walton, everyone, including K.C. Jones.

I stood 'backstage' and these guys signed the ball for me.

Any idea what something like this would be worth?

Thanx,

-dave

Answer
Hi Dave,

I have seen basketballs signed by NBA Championship Teams of the early Nineties where the seller asked for 200/250 $, but of course when you talk about sports memorabilia it all depends on the value placed on the item because of its emotional associations rather than its monetary worth. A Celtics fan could pay it more than its worth, but I think that the 200/250 bucks should be the range of your basketball value.
I hope this helps
