Did Walter Brown ever paid a license or franchise fee to be able to use the name "Celtics" from the New York "Original" Celtics team? Thanks in advance, bye.

no, Walter Brown never had to pay a license to use the nickname "Celtics". The New York Celtics had never trademarked the name... and even so, the oldest team in the world to use it was not an american one. The Glasgow Celtic soccer team was in fact founded in 1888.....
