The last news I got about Charles Smith, a few months ago, were that he is living in Maryland and doing fine. He is still dealing with the pain he caused to two families because of his negligent driving. Charles had been sentenced to 4 and half years in jail but served only 28 months in the Suffolk House of Correction of Boston because of good behavior, and was released on July 26, 1994.
