Here's the reason as to why there is confusion about who bit who, regarding the Tree Rollins and Danny Ainge biting incident. This came to me from Danny's former team mate on the Celtics and friend Kevin McHale. When McHale told me the story, he did so being so proud and thinking it was so funny that he caused the confusion and that it caused most people to actually think Danny did the biting. What he did was... after the game he said to the reporters ... "Can you believe Ainge bit Rollins?!" And that was it, confusion for everyone. Nobody could believe that Rollins would do that. But Danny being the guy with the reputation of being feisty and not backing down got the wrap.
