Question
Thanks for your availability. My Grandad bought me stock in the celtics back in 1987, i was 16 at the time and did'nt know much about stocks. I believe my mother has the certificate, and was wondering if my stock is worth anything? Thanks again! isaac

Answer
Actually, when Wyc Grousbeck bought the Celtics franchise from previous owner Paul Gaston, all individual stockholders had to sell their shares back to the Celtics ... In other words, the Celtics are no longer a "publicly traded" professional sports team, and - therefore - the stock is no longer worth anything.
