i wanted to know if any one died on the court or off, from the celtics after lynn bias died around the same time drazen petrovic died in his car crash

Len Bias died in the Maryland University campus the day after he had been picked by the Celtics, on June 19th, 1986, and the Celtics had to see another member of their family die only seven years later. Since Drazen Petrovic died on June 7, 1993 in a car crash not far from Donkendorf, Germany, I assume you are asking about Reggie Lewis, the Celtics star who passed the same summer. On July 27, 1993, Reggie Lewis died while shooting baskets at Brandeis University, victim of sudden cardiac death. Lewis was then the captain of the Boston Celtics and the top scorer of the team, but had suffered of a heart attack only three months before his death, when he had had to leave a playoff game against the Charlotte Hornets because he was feeling dizzy.
