i recently went to a bucks vs. Celtics NBA basketball game to see Wally szczerbiak. i know he recently had ankle surgery but why wasn't he sitting on the bench in a suit with the rest of the team? It was my birthday and i was disappointed that he wasn't there.

injured players are usually allowed by their teams to stay at home in order to heal. Even Al Jefferson, who had just suffered a badly bruised knee, was granted the permission to stay in Boston to heal faster.
I am sorry you did not manage to see Wally Szczerbiak on your birthday, but I am sure he will be in Milwaukee the next season. Happy belated birthday, by the way...
