Question I am assisting on a project that entails Red Sox players' uniform numbers. George Thomas is listed on several web sites as wearing uniform numbers 24, 17 and 22 during his Red Sox career. Yet, Thomas claims he never wore #17. Is there any documented proof that he did or did not wear #17?
