Boston Terriers/Boston urination behavior

Question
Hello Marie,
I don't know if this is a breed-specific phenomenon but I wondered if you have observed this behavior in your Bostons.  I have a 3yr old Boston that has been fully house trained since he was less than 6 mo. old. He almost never has "accidents" in the house.  For some strange reason however, a few weeks ago he developed the habit of urinating on the kitchen floor in front of the fridge.  Once he even did this when I was in the kitchen and he looked straight at me as he was piddling as though he didn't even feel he was doing anything wrong.  I cleaned the spot w/enzyme cleaner to destroy the smell so he wouldn't get the impression that this was the place to go to the bathroom. Still, he continues this habit.....about 3 times a week he urinates on the kitchen floor in the same exact spot.  I cannot figure out what his obsession is.  He is let outside regularly and his behavior seems perfectly norman otherwise. It crossed my mind that it could be a bladder infection, but I have had dogs before with a BI and it just doesn't seem like a BI in this case....he seems to carry out this behavior with a sense of purpose.  Have you ever seen or heard of this behavior in a Boston (or any other breed for that matter)?
Thanks, Jed

Answer

I love Pet Nurse Marie
Jed - sounds very odd - I wonder if it is a little behavior along with health related???
3 yrs old?  How about we try a few supplements....if this doesn't' help please see the vet for a blood test.  We need to rule out health problems first. Right?

Give this kid some Vitamin E - 200 IU ( just 1 per day) x 2 weeks....

Also, how about getting this boy onto a good supplement and immune system booster:

Don't buy the junk at the pet store / give the best and FRESH, too.
here is the link - order here:

We have some good behavior experts here on the site:  You can go to them but I feel the Health options need to be worked on first.
I bet they would tell you the same as I.

Hope this helps...
Keep me updated-  good supplements take a few weeks to kick In
