Question
QUESTION: my boston is 10 months old. she has lost some hair well a lot of hair behind her ears...and now some in front...i have just noticed this...what could be causing this?
ANSWER: Hi Susan - Is she itching at all? Are the bald spots red in color?
There could be many reasons for this...
Also, what food brand and flavor are you feeding?

QUESTION: no she is not itching...andd they are not red...doesn't seem to be bothering her at all.....haven't changed her food either
Well, that is good news. The only thing I can think of is Thyroid...
)
Next time you go in for your vaccinations ask them to take a blood test for her thyroid levels...
Some times the Thyroid will mess up the skin/hair behind the ears.
If it were allergies, most of the time the skin would be dry, crusted or even red.
Keep and eye on it...Call your vet if it gets any worse than it appears now.
