Question
Hi. We just got our 2nd Boston Terrier and she is the smallest I have ever seen. She is 10 weeks old and weighs just under 2 lbs. Her size worries me a little bit. Have you seen them this small and are they as healthy as a "normal" size puppy?? She plays and eats fine.

Answer
Hello Christy:  Some Bostons can be small and petite in size.  I am sure she has seen a vet for the first 2 sets of shots.  What did the vet say?  Did they vet feel she was in good health.  Females can run smaller than males.... Also, did you see her mom and dad???  They could be on the smaller side, too.

Make sure she is eating a good health kibble such as:  Innova, Wellness, Solid Gold, Chicken Soup for the Soul, Canadide.... anything with low grains and mostly meat based.

You can get her started onto NuVEt Plus right away.  She would only need 1/2 a wafer treat per day.  This is the best Doggie Vitamin in the USA... NuVET Plus  ( NOT sold in stores)

For her size it will cost you .25 to .30 cents per day.
( she only needs 1/2)

Let me know if I can be of any other help to you??
