Question
Hi, I have a 1.5 year old Boston female she has started her 2nd heat cycle and I have a beautiful male with great markings picked out. My question is she is 15.5 lbs and he is 16 lbs is that going to make a big difference as far as her having trouble whelping or are their sizes close enough to be ok?

Answer
Hi Tresa:  I don't feel there will be a problem at all.  You may want to take her to the vet and have the genetic testing done.  At that time, the vet can measure her and give you an idea on her health and whelping ability.

The Boy should also have some genetic testing... ( not all just the major ones they like to do)

BEST wishes and see your vet soon.

Thanks for the Question!
