My dog max goes outside to poop just fine during the day, but at night time while we are sleeping he sleeps in a large breed dog crate. And he poops usually 2 times is there something I can do to eliminate the nighttime pooping problem? Please help!

Hi Amy:  The key is his feeding times and brand that you feed.
Let me explain:

First of all:  If you are feeding a food that is high in fillers such as corns, he is getting too much junk fiber.

Second: YOU will need to feed him much earlier, so that he can digest and poop before bed.

A good food to switch him to would be :  Innova ( puppy), Wellness Formula ( puppy) or Solid Gold ( puppy)...  No junk fillers in the foods listed here.  Much smaller poops because the food is condensed.
Also, you will feed much less amounts.

Don't let him free feed.  Make sure he gets the last feeding by 5 pm.
