Hi, I got a 2 year old boston terrier male about two weeks ago.  The previous owner feed him petigree dog food.  I want to get some better dog food because he has AWFUL gas.  What is a good kind for a Boston that will help allievate it?  Thanks so much

Hello Kristina:  Great !  I would love to help you and your girl..
Bostons have a tendency to have  gas!  I know what you mean...

Here are my suggestions:

First -Let's get her onto some Wellness Formula CORE or Innova EVO dry dog food...I want you to mix your OLD food and this new food for 3 weeks.  Do a 50/50 mix of the old and new.
The new food can be found only at pet stores.  Do you have access to a local pet store or FEED / Farm store????
If not , let me know ..

Next, After the 3 weeks, go 100% onto the new food.  This food, that I suggested, has no grains or very low grains.
Excellent and your boston will poop smaller because you feed a more condensed food.

Also, give this kid some Probiotic  - Acidophilus
1 billion CFUs... YOU can find this at just about any Health and Beauty section of Walmart, Target or Shopping Center.
Give her 1 per day for a lifetime.  Excellent for her belly and total health!
