Question
I recently noticed with my 2 yr old BT that her bottom lip has turned pink. what could that be? We haven't changed her food or daily routin, nothing has changed. Should I take her to the vet?

Answer
Hi Christy, Well, sometimes they can have changes in the pigmentation around the mouth or even eyes. If there is no swelling or signs of drainage, then I would not be worried.
You can make a special visit to your local vet or just bring it up at your next "shot" visit.

Keep an eye on the area for any other changes. Call the vet if you notice any kind of change.
For now, I bet it is just a pigment change. Why? Sometimes it is just genetics.
