Hi, my name is Kelly and I have a 1yr old Boston Terrier.  She is balding behind and in front of her ears, her back legs are starting to show signs of hair loss, and her hair has not grown back since she was spayed 6 mos ago.  There are no "spots", and there is no irritation on the skin.  I have been to the vet NUMEROUS times, skin scrapes, allergy meds, and nothing has come of it.  I have her on Innova, basically a grain free food.  I use "free" detergents on everything, she gets fish oil supplements (caplets) in her food once a day.  Will my babies hair ever grow back, or can I at least find a way to stop her from losing anymore..  Please help!!

Hi Kelly and Boston .... POOR kid, this is common with her breed.  I have a few things that will help with hair/fur re-growth.  
1.  Please place her on a very small dosage of Vitamin E ( 100 IU ) every OTHER day - long term this is a very small dosage - YOU may need to order this small dosage thru an on-line vitamin store.  Hard to find anything under 200 Ius of E.

2.  Next - Please continue to feed the Grain-free foods...Good for you:
also offer a "grain free" treat - only
Innova , Wellness, Canidae all make a grain free dog treat
Keep her on the oil, too  ( Good job)
