Question
QUESTION: With all the negative on line comments about the newer fomula of Canidae Dog Food is it still considered to be a quality food? If not, what would be better?

ANSWER: Hello Dee - From what I have known in the past, Candiae was or is a very good food.  Now, if they changed the ingredients then it could be a problem.  I never refer my clients to that food because there are other brands that I like to work with.
The ones that I like are:
Innova or the Innova EVO
Wellness or Wellness Core
Merrick ( before grain)
Solid Gold products ( Barking at the Moon is the grain-free one, but I like many of the Solid Gold recipes...)
SoJo HOME cooking - you add the lightly cooked meats..

Also, most of my clients take 1 NuVET wafer per day

Many also use Salmon oil ( pure salmon oil) and add to the food daily - just a teaspoon or tablespoon and mix.

Well, sorry I can't help you on the Canidae, as I don't know what the change in the ingredients were?

Good luck and If you want more help from me...JUST ask

QUESTION: If you search " Canadae complaints" or " Canidae class action law suit" you will see all the complaints. I have not had a problem (so far) with it. The fomula change is on Canidae's wed site. I am leaning toward Innova Evo for my my very active 13 month old Boston. Thanks for ansewering my e-mail, and so quickly too!! I will check out this site often~~ Dee

Answer
Hi Dee- Yes, thanks for the info...I have seen some info about this brand but because I don't refer to it, I just brushed it off.
As for your baby, the safest way to go is the SoJo cooking - you buy the grain free mix ( green bag) and add your own meats... VERY easy to do and SoJo is all Natural and the Cooking is done in your very own kitchen... ( I add cooked meats not raw...but some do raw, too)
Yes, Innova is a wonderful dog food brand also... But, if you want the best it is SoJo or even 100% home made by you.
**sojo does offer free delivery in the USA...
**you can find them at many stores, too

Good luck on your search !!!

Best wishes with your little Boston...I have one here at my feet right now, only 9 WEEKS old - I am puppy sitting him for 5 days.
Soooooo cute!
