Boston Terriers/Boston Terrier just flops on the floor

Question
Hi Marie. My Boston does something that I think is a little worrisome. When he gets tired, sometimes just a little tired, he stops what he's doing and just flops down on his side on the floor. It happens at least once almost every day. If you walk out of the room or someone comes to the door he jumps up. Some fellow Boston owners said that it was just "a Boston thing" because their short noses can cause some resportiory difficulties. He had a vet checkup earlier this month and everything looked ok. He didn't have a complete check of his resportiory system, though. I may be overreacting( wouldn't be the first time) LOL  He doesn't seem to be in a lot of distress when this happens and he doesn't lie there long. He is 14 months old. This has been happening about 3 months now. He did throw up twice last Sunday but he seems to have gotten over that. Am I overreacting or is this something I should keep an eye on?

Answer
Hi Dee, well, this does sound odd to me!  You can have the vet run some blood work on this kid.  It may just be his FAST growth and how he has decided to handle the growth episode.
I would add some supplements to his program.  See it this helps and he can deal with the energy.

1.  Add some Vitamin E to his diet ( 1 ) 50 IU - just one per day long term...( this is a very small dosage for a CAT)

2.  Add some Ester C - (1) 250 ESTER C - give 1 per day long term... This comes right out in his urine - can't overdose.... ok

3. Please start him on the NuVET wafers - Just 1 per day will help - helps the immune system and helps all the growing body systems.
