Boston Terriers/open fontanel on Boston terrier;

Question
I have a two year old boston terrier, and I just adopted a 9 week old.  When
taking my new pup to the vet, I was told she has an open fontanel.  The vet
did not seem too concerned, but when i told the breeder she was very upset
that she had let her go before it was closed.  I researched some online with
mixed results.  some sites say she will be fine, another said most won't live
past 6 months.  Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hello Rachel, I am not a breeder but I do have a few bulldog clients with open fontanels at 5-6 months of age.  We have the two dogs, with the open fonts, on some supplements.
Would you like more info on supplements for growth and healing?
Let me know...

I think this is more common than you know.
