Question
You've given me advice some time ago about the things I can do to alleviate some of my Boston's gas issues.  You suggested changing his diet to a grain free food and the last we communicated, I did.  He is also takes the Nuvet Wafer daily for the past 5 months.  Lately, his stool is soft sometimes not all the time and he throwing up a lot.  It's usually white foamy looking throw up with specs of his undigested food. The interesting thing of it all is that he could just be playing normally or be excited about seeing someone and he would throw up like nothing. He may not eat in the morning but will eat in the evening.  His energy level is normal to high.  He loves to play and run around.  I'm not sure what I should think or do in this situation.  If he was lethargic and not very responsive, I might be more concerned but he really active.  Any suggestions or thoughts?

Ok Diana, I think we are still dealing with some gas in his belly.
You can raise his feeding dishes to "arm pit" level.
Also, in the am give him 1/2 of a tagament tablet ( You can ask your vet if this dosage is ok ...)
*this will help to reduce any gas and x-tra acids ....

The dosage for him AS PER the WALKER Valley VET office is :

1/2 a Tablet ( again, please give in the am - hide in some cheese)

TAGAMET (Cimetidine)/PEPCID-AC/ZANTAC:

Reduces the amount of stomach acids and can be dispensed to dogs and cats suffering from ulcers, acid reflux or belly ache.
Sometimes they are used to prevent ulcers in animals taking other medications. These medications are given once to twice daily.
It's best to discuss the exact dosage with your veterinarian.

You may be able to do the Tagament Short term for a month or so...

Many Bostons have this problem - you are not alone.

Keep me posted!
