QUESTION: I have a darling 2 yr old BT and I recently discovered she had roundworms. I gave her some medication and the next day she seemed alright. The day after that she swallowed a bee and her neck swelled up and she could not eat. I gave her part of a benadryl and put ice on her and the next day she was much better but NOW she eats very little and is throwing up about twice a day. Her eyes are bright, her gums are pink and her temp is 101.I can't afford a vet bill till the end of the month but if I need to I will get the funds to take her sooner. Do you think I need to be sooo worried? Thank you for your time   her name is Gizmo

ANSWER: Hi Sandy and Gizmo! Do you know what the medication was called?
Also, do you recall how much to give and how often?
When Gizmo vomits, what do you see?  Is it undigested foods or just phlem?

QUESTION: Hi Marie- the medication was Hartz Rid-worm and I gave her 1 tsp / every 5 lbs so I gave her 2.5 tsp. She is actually much better and back to her wicked ways...so I am very happy! I guess that must have been pretty hard on her system to make her so sick. I only gave it once. Thank you so much for your time

Well, good news, she is better.
YOU may want to give another dosage in 4 weeks or so.  Most of the time you need to worm them 2 or 3 x .  When you get the funds, please do see your Vet for a stool test.
