Question
I have a 6 month old boston who's ears almost appear to be shrinking as there are little tabs or ragged edges on them. What is this? Her skin looks fine, no infection, no severe dry skin.
Also she still cannot be in her crate (approx 7.5 hours) without urinating.  Any suggestions?

Hi Cathy,  Rough ears tabs on Boston:  YES, I have seen this before.
Please apply some Mane n Tail Conditioner to the ears 1-2 x per week..

You can just rub a dash of this onto the ears -  any dry areas.

If you give your Boston a bath - add a little Mane n Tail to the shampoo and foam up.
After 3 minutes - rinse all.
Don't bath your pup more then once every 7 days.
( IN between baths, use Huggies Unscented baby wipes)


As for the urine -  NuVET will help to strengthen the bladder.
NuVET will also help to reduce excessive inflammation in the bladder.

Talk to you Vet if this continues.  MOST 6 month old Bostons can only HOLD IT for 6-8 hrs ... She may be right "on Track" for her age.
