Botswana/Lodges

Question
Which of these lodges would you recommend for game viewing the 1st week of April.  Savute Safari Lodge, Chobe Game Lodge or Savuti camp.  If you have any other ideas that would be great.  Also, how many days do you need to spend at Victoria Falls 2 or 3?

Thank you

Answer
Hi Richard
Thanks for your enquiry - I would recommend Savuti rather than Chobe.  Chobe is beautiful its where Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor spent their honeymoon,  so has plenty of nostalgic value attached to it.  Chobe is commercialised and quite big,  Savuti on the other hand is more exclusive and smaller.  It really depends on what you are looking for. I like a more personal experience and one would find that at Savuti.
Vic Falls is wonderful,  I will be there with a group in November.  Matetsi game reserve is superb I have stayed there,  I would suggest you stay for 3 nights.  If you would like me to make bookings for you from SA let me know and I can arrange.  I am a tour operator specialising in Africa.
Kind regards
Carole
