Question Hello. I was recently browsing pictures and reading a review about David Bowie and The Arcade Fire at Conde Nast's 2005 Fashion Rocks Show. It appears that his hand was wrapped up and he had a black eye. Some sites on the www mention this for those who might not have noticed, however I can't seem to find out what caused these injuries? When I do a search for "David Bowie injuries" the lollipop incident comes up as well as the pinched nerve in his shoulder, but nothing about his hand and eye. Do you have any ideas? Thanks
Answer The brusied eye and the bandage around his hand was just a joke on his behalf, or statement about fashion in general, I don't know.
The heart problem he came down with during the last month of the reality tour in 2004 is today what made him gain weight and probably why he looks kind of bloated in the face.
