Question
QUESTION: I stored my bowling balls in a bowling bag along with shoes and towel. They were in my cellar for almost a year. They got mildew on them. How can I get the smell and white residue off the balls? Thanks in advance.

ANSWER: What kind of bowling ball?

QUESTION: Both are Brunswick balls. One is a LT48, the other is a Black Beauty. Yes these are old, but I don't bowl much anymore. Sorry about not getting right back to you.

Answer
You might be able to clean them with simple green, but it would be best if you could take them to a pro shop to get them cleaned up.  The pro shop would be able to us some stronger cleaners and a ball spinner.  It will cost a bit more, but get them cleaned up much better.

Good luck,
Chip
