Question QUESTION: My friends and I love to go bowling. We're certainly not pros or even anywhere close, but it's a cheap, fun thing to do when there isn't much else going on. My only problem is that whenever I bowl, the inside of my thumb (specifically, the inside area between the first and second knuckle) always rubs against the edge of the thumb hole, causing some nasty bruising and pain. What can I do to eliminate this problem?
ANSWER: IS THIS PAIN COMING FROM A HOUSE BALL OR YOUR OWN PERSONAL BALL?

QUESTION: House balls. I don't have my own ball.
Answer HOUSE BALLS ARE DRILLED GENERIC.THERE SUPPOSE TO ACCOMMODATE LEFTIES & RIGHTIES.
I WOULD SUGGEST GETTING AN INEXPENSIVE PLASTIC BALL DRILLED CONVENTIONAL JUST LIKE THE HOUSE BALLS BUT,DRILLED JUST FOR YOUR HAND. THIS WILL ELIMINATE MOST PROBLEMS & PROBABLY HELP WITH YOUR SCORES ALSO.
LOOK AROUND FOR A GOOD REPUTABLE PRO SHOP.THEY EVEN MIGHT HAVE SOME USED BALLS READY TO DRILL THAT WOULD EVEN BE CHEAPER.THE POINT IS TO ELIMINATE HAND PROBLEMS BY GETTING A BALL DRILLED JUST FOR YOUR HAND.
