Bowling/Xtra hole

Question
What does drilling an extra hole past or below your axis do for ball reaction. I'm getting ready to drill a T-Road Solid with a pin 1 to 1.5 and 2.76oz. of top weight and I want it to have some backend to it. Any suggestions? I don't have my stats but I can create some area or I work in different releases like a spin or end over end. Thanks for your time..........

Answer
If you place the hole just past your axis and pitch it downward,  you can add some topweight after drilling and that will help the ball make a stronger move at the breakpoint.  Keep in mind, as you enhance the backend potential, the ball will be a bit more sensitive to lane changes, hand positions, and ball speeds.

Good luck,
Chip

One suggestion would be to place the pin just below the ring finger in line with the CG.  An extra hole may not be needed.  If you want the extra hole, then move the CG to the right of the grip center 1 1/2 inches and then place the xtra hole just past the PAP and pitch it downward.
