Question
Please explain the effects of pitches for an average tweener with a finger span around 4-3/4, 7/8 thumb and around 21/32 fingers in a finger tip ball, medium speed.  Current pitches in fingers 1/4 F, thumb 1/4 R x 1/8 R.  What should happen if the finger pitches were changed to 1/4 R and thumb to 0 x 1/8 L pitch?

Answer
If you make a change like that, you will need to adjust your spans as well.  Usually, going with less reverse on the thumb will allow  you to relaxe more and not hae to grip the ball.  Adding reverse to the fingers allows for a cleaner and less grabbly release.
