AnswerEfrain,
When choosing a ball, I look at your: average, ball speed, rev rate, axis tilt and rotation as well as the lane conditions and environment that you will bowl on/in. We examine your current equipment and have you throw the ball on conditions I'm familiar with.
What does your Tornado do? How big a pin does it have? How do you roll it, fast, slow? Do you turn the ball much? Obviously not enough hook, am I right?
You've not answered any of my other questions (Why is Buddies an option for you? What options do you have locally? Where will you get the ball drilled? Why isn't your ball driller the person you buy the ball from? Doesn't that operator have a vested interest in you doing well with the ball?), so how can I suggest a VERY sophisticated piece of equipment, when I know nothing of what you do to the ball????
Buddies does NOT Care if you bowl well! They just want to sell a Ball, any ball, to YOU. They have NO investment in will it work.
Your pro shop guy should be asking you about top weight and pin position, and if you don't know anything about it, they should teach you how important the information is. If they don't, get a different operator.
Thanks for the follow up. I'd like to help, but you must be honest with me. Please answer my questions. THEY ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO GETTING YOU GOOD BALL REACTION.
