Bowling/drilling for my first ball

Question
I was given a twisted fury recently and am going to get it drilled soon, but the problem is I have no idea how to get it drilled.  I read online that I should know my PAP before getting it drilled, but all I have used before were house balls that I throw straight.  The ball came with drilling instructions, but I don't know which option would be best for me since it has multiple examples.  I know this ball is a high performance ball, but I only average around 150.  Should I just pick one of the drilling examples in the instructions or should I buy a new entry level reactive resin ball from my pro shop first to learn to hook it before gettting my twisted fury drilled?

Answer
If you want to use this ball, just drill it with the pin near the ring finger and the CG near the center of the palm.  That layout is on the sheet you have.

Being a high performance ball, it will take some time to get used to.  Eveything that you saw with your house ball will be exagerated with the twisted fury.  The fury will make your good shots better, but make  your bad shots worse.

If you have the time and the money, starting with an entry level ball would not be a bad idea.  Once you get the hang of the release and ball reaction, you could get the fury drilled.  The entry level ball could then be used as a spare ball if need be.

Like with most things, there are exceptions to every rule.  I have seen bowlers start with a high end ball and be fine.

Good luck,
