Question
how do you produce high revolutions on a ball?

I throw a 15# and 14# ball.  My speed is about 12 mph.

I also leave a lot of 10 pins.

Answer
Robert,
Tough to describe.

But, with shoulder closing, elbow and wrist driving the hand and fingers lifting and spinning the ball, you will impart strong revolutions to a ball.

Do the balls feel heavy? 12 mph is pretty slow. How is the ball feeling? Often slower speed is the result of a muscled, gripped delivery. The more you must "let go" the more energy comes off the ball, the less rotation is imparted to the ball.

I describe a good ball fit as the ball letting go of you. If you must work to grip the ball, your fit is fighting your desire to deliver the ball with a stronger rev rate.

10 pins are the result of many things. Soft tens, solid tens? Is your ball exiting the lane (after hitting the pins) straight back, bouncing to the right or driving to the left (for a right hander)?
